Take a spin on the Chair-o-plane or ride around in a teapot! Located near the Main Stage and in Children’s Zone behind the playground.

Scouts

The Scouting movement will be out in force. On the Oval, the District Scouts will provide a bouldering wall for youngsters to climb on. And in the Park near Panther Place, there will be crate stacking. 1st North Eltham will do their usual mini golf and face painting. Their Rover crew, Sugarloaf Rovers, will be cooking up Poffertjes. At the bottom of Alistair Knox Park, 2nd Eltham Sea Scouts will provide activities including (plastic) Hatchet Throwing and (suction) Archery. And also sizzling sausages in Panther Place.

Whats a party without face painting? There will be free face painting in the Park from 11am to 7pm. In addition the 1st North Eltham Scouts will be face painting on the oval for a small donation.

Calling solo performers, duos, acoustic acts, singer-songwriters, and up-and-coming musicians who would love the chance to perform in front of a live festival audience.

Camel Rides

Camel Rides. Take a turn around the oval on the camel train and pretend you’re an adventurer in the desert 
Children aged 3 & 4 yrs old MUST ride with an Adult and EVERY rider pays. The cost is $20 pp. Lap sitters aged 3 & 4 are $15pp

The annual fireworks display is always a highlight of the festival. Come and find a spot on the grass in Alistair Knox Park, bring a picnic or buy some dinner from the range of food options available and listen to music on the Main Stage whilst waiting for the fireworks at dusk – usually around 9pm.

Come and support our local amazing emergency services. Learn about fire safety, bush fire resilience and the work of our Nillumbik SES unit. You can find Fire Rescue Victoria, Eltham CFA, Nillumbik SES, at the bottom of Panther Place. SES Road Rescue Demos 11am and 2pm
Come and hear all about Thunderball 2027 in aid of Nillumbik SES. Announcements on Main State at 12.10pm.
