Additional parking places for use by people with disabilities have been allocated off Main Road, near the top of Panther Place, outside the Senior Citizens’ room and in Library Place and Eltham Community and Reception Centre.
A drop-off/pick-up point for those requiring assistance will be located at the corner of Panther Place and Main Road.
There are three blocks of toilets located along Bridge Street, near the top of Panther Place and under the trestle bridge. All toilet blocks include accessible toilets.
Sensory Friendly Chill Out Zone
The Festival has a Sensory Friendly Chill Out Zone for those needing a calmer environment and some down time. The zone usually includes free sensory friendly craft activities, mini mindfulness sessions and storytelling.
Nellie the Caravan for Breastfeeding Mums
Nellie the caravan (courtesy of Banyule Council) is available at the festival for breastfeeding mums. Nellie is the beloved mascot of Banyule City Council’s festivals and events. She can be found at all major festivals in Banyule usually as a cosy space for breastfeeding mums. She is a classic 1960s Australian designed, red and silver caravan.
